Who Can Participate?

The MEB International Gastronomy Festival and Cooking Competition is open to students enrolled in vocational and technical secondary education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.

The competition aims to enhance students’ professional skills, strengthen teamwork awareness, and ensure that Turkish culinary culture is represented accurately and respectfully at national and international levels.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Enrollment in a vocational and technical secondary school under the Ministry of National Education
  • Registration in the Food and Beverage Services field
  • Participation under the supervision of an advisor teacher
  • Only one team per school is allowed to apply
  • Each team must consist of 3 students and 1 advisor teacher
By participating in the competition, all teams are deemed to have accepted the official competition regulations.
